What does it mean to minister? While the universal church may not have arrived at a definitive answer, I have some thoughts. First of all, in the New Testament directive that is considered to be the “Great” one, Jesus commanded his disciples to, in turn make more disciples. I, therefore, believe ministry should fulfill the goal of discipleship. To truly minister specifically from a biblical worldview, the process should draw people closer to God, enabling them to become more Christ-like. The second venue I might turn to for guidance is the Westminster Shorter Catechism which states that humanity’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever. Rather than linking the concept of ministry solely to achievement, I believe true ministry should also assist us in appreciating the Creator. My understanding of scripture, in context, is that the enjoyment of God is an important aspect of discipleship....

Getting a higher education can be costly. But, Christian colleges with full ride scholarships bring hope. They not only focus on academic success but also on growing in faith. These schools across the U.S. aim to make learning affordable for everyone. Only 1.5% of undergraduates get scholarships that cover all costs, showing how special these offers are. For example, Liberty University gives full rides to National Merit Finalists. This highlights how these colleges reward hard work and academic achievement. Azusa Pacific University also offers full tuition scholarships to top students.
Christian universities like College of the Ozarks stand out with their unique financial aid. They provide free tuition and consider students’ financial needs during admission. This approach helps students grow both in their studies and faith. Full ride scholarships at Christian colleges don’t just help with finances. They also aim to develop leaders whose faith is part of their education....
